How far are you guys willing to drive for these races?

My brother may do another race or two this spring, but he's not planning on doing so once summer comes around and everything gets dusty. ..

For me, I don't think the WFO series (www.wfopromotions.com) gets more than about 3 hours away. .. so I'm okay with it . . though that is 6 hours of driving to accomodate 1-1/2 hours of riding. .. on my trail ride trips, I always aim to have more seat time on the quad than in the truck. .

Anyway, for racing, I'm open to carpooling as my trailer will haul 5 quads and truck gas is expensive. ..

yeah some of the further races could be good to split up the gas, make it a ittle easier on the pocket books.

looks like a fun race. ..

main hurdle I'd see is that it's going well into the night. . . and we don't have anything beyond stock lighting. .. would be REAL expensive to set up good HID lighting on three quads. .. otherwise, I slow down a TON once I can't see well.

Banned ATV is having a 6 hour race near Ft. Dodge in August... I was thinking of doing that.

another 6 hour would be fun.

I read on one of the other forums that once you use a quad in the ten hour it isnt allowed to be used again. So you would have to stay on one quad for all the riders until it would be time to switch and then you cant use it again.

Actually. .. I misspoke. .. the Banned race is a 125 mile 2-man team race. .. I figure we went about 135 miles in the Mo 6 hour race, so I'm guessing when I say 6 Hour. ..

Looks like the 10 hour race could be a real possibility. .. though I don't like the sounds of not being able to swap back to a different quad once it's been used. .. doesn't make sense as one of the main reasons to have multiple quads is so that you can ride your own in the race. . . and not thrash on your buddy's bike if he doesn't want you to.
