Big winter projects 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 3
Anyone got any big winter projects. I am thinking about building a tree stand for deer hunting but not sure if the wife is going to like it.

I want to finish some more of my basement off in my new house. Need to build an office for the wife, and Im going to do a quad shop in the basement as well.

Then the quad needs to be torn down and gone through to get it ready for next season.

I've been throwing around the idea of doing a frame-up rebuild of my 250R this winter. .. . My current frame is tweaked pretty bad, and has about 20-30 lbs of additional metal on it right now. .. I have an '89 frame ready to go. .. just have to start switching over parts.. ..

I may take my old frame and old parts and build a practice 250R with them. . .. but probably not, since my local practice land is no longer available ... and it won't be convenient for me to get out and practice.

Will also be doing winter riding. .. just throw the right tires (Maxxis 4snow or Ohtsu Pro Wedge) on the back and a sport quad becomes a makeshift snowmobile
