All right, need some info. Trying to compare these two bikes. I am not sure which one to pick, both of them i like and are about the same price. My question is pulling power. From my experience with the Honda 400, the ESP and their transmissions didn't give them much help when pulling some weight. We use our arctic cat to pull around creep feeders and it seems to not be a problem, but when you hook the honda up to it, its a little challenging.

Anyone have a grizzly 450, how does the transmission work.. Do you have high low range with several gears in each range?

I have a kodiak 450. It is a auto with high and low it works great. Last year i pulled a jeep up hill backwards and had no problem. love the bike run like at top. Top speed is about 55 to 60 4wheel drive is awsome only been stuck once and it took 2 4wheeldrives and a winch to get me out.

400 Rancher flat out sucks compared to the 420 Rancher.The only thing I can say about the 450 Grizz, is it has big bore features in a smaller package. I have never ridden the Grizz yet. Both Honda , I have ridden.

Does the 420 have more top speed than the 400.....I was disappointed in the 400.
