I was there, but the quad didnt make it. had some electrial issues during the Fox Valley race and didnt get it sorted out in time. My brother in law hit a tree and broke a spindle in the practice lap. Track looked cool, when I was walking it and taking pictures. Some nice tight and twisty sections really made me wish the quad was there. Then there was alot of wide open areas around one of the lakes. Looked pretty cool, wouldnt mind going there just to ride for the day. I really hope they have another race there this season.

Theres about 600 pictures here, http://community.webshots.com/user/lesrace82
Some are of Trees and sky or dirt, I didnt go through them to weed out the bad ones.

And back on topic.
Heres the pool noodles

I ran mine in full lengths around the rim, but it was a MFer to get them in and tires mounted. Im gonna switch them over to this way when the time comes to dismount my tires.

I havent had a problem yet, knock on wood. But I would be pissed if I drove 4+ hours and got knocked out of the race on the first lap because of a cut side wall. At least this way Id be able to finish the race out. I can pull my valve stems now, and be able to ride around with out any real ill effects.

I was gonna go with the walmart balls, but this way ended up being cheaper.

I got the 6" inflatable balls from walmart for $1.50 each. I haven't installed them yet as I just got them the other day. I was told how to install them. Coat the inside of the tire with motor oil and each ball as you insert them. You deflate each ball to around two pounds each and face the valve out to where you can get to it as you spoon the bead over the rim. The rears typically will get 5 pounds of air in each ball and work your way around. You will get 20 balls in each rear and 13 in each front tire. You leave the last two balls out till the end before you spoon the final part of the bead over. you do not need bead locks as I don't. You never get a flat, so who need the extra expense of beadlocks? I have to go out and get a football/basketball pump and add a hose to it. In the middle of the hose you add a low pressure regulater from a welding supply shop and a needle inflater from a sporting goods store and ther you go. For $130.00, I have balls in my tires tougher than the expensive tire balls that cost you $200.00 per tire. That's what I'm talking about...
