Had to get the main knuckel on my left thumb fused with two screws last Tuesday. Will have a wrist cast on it for three months. Ripped off both ligamants that hold your joint tight and in place, destroyed the joint the last year, bone to bone cartilage gone, had to have it done. Couldn't ride much less race on it, so I am paying the piper for too many violent races on the wrists. got to ride like your life depends on it to place in the GNCC's. So I have to forfiet this year of racing. Will be back stronger and better in 09 though. Not whining here, just pissed. I aint' exactly getting any younger and it kills me to just sit on the sidelines and watch. Just sayin...

Thats a bummer, but look at the bright side, at least you got one hand to type with. So we should be seeing around the site a lot!

Ya, I also have a big pole barn I am trying to build and have plans on augering for the poles this weekend and getting them in place and set. Back to work on Mon. too. I try to visit here as much as I can, usually every time I fire this puter up. Hope all is well with everyone!

Sounds like the barn will keep you busy, if 1 hand will work for you. I would be screwed, i am a computer programmer. You take away my hands, might as well forget it.

I hear ya, I go back to work on Mon. and I am an electrician working right now at Marathon's gas refinery. Fortunately, you need a permit to even enter any area and it slows things down alot. So as the soreness goes away, I should adapt. Going to cut half this damn cast off tonight that I got on for the 1st month, too restricting. Got the stiches out this morning, going to leave ANOTHER cool scar, lol.
