Our Next President 10 Months ago Karma: 3
As always the fight to keep our riding areas open and free will continue in the next presidential election. Some want to close these areas, while other vow to keep these open.

What candidate do you think will do the most to keep our riding areas open?

McCain
Obama
Clinton

Thanks

McCain would be my best guess.

We would probably have to wait to see who the running mate is for the other two. If either one of them were to win, I can't see them making it long enough to be sworn in. Too many idiots our there that can't handle a woman or black president.

Later,

Steve

When it comes to land use issues. . . it is usually split directly down the party lines. . .

Democrats will generally side with Greenpeace and will do everything they can to make our public lands "preserves"

Republicans will generally side with the public and will look to make public lands available to the public and sustainable through conservation. .

So . .. my answer is McCain. . . though I don't know how much of a priority this is for him. . .
